Some HTC HD2 are not familiar with the TeleNav of their phone, well, they need to know they must have a TeleNav GPS Navigator account or 30 day trial account to use this application.

To turn on or turn off the TeleNav GPS, follow the steps below:

Step 1. From the Home screen, tap Start.
Step 2. Tap TeleNav.
Step 3. StTap Accept to the terms of service.
Step 4. From First Name, enter your first name.
Step 5. Tap the Last Name.
Step 6. Enter your last name.
Step 7. If desired, tap Email and enter your e-mail address.
Step 8. Tap Go.
Step 9. Tap Go to the free 30 day trial message. You are prompted to upgrade your account after the 30 trial period ends.
Step 10. Read the warning about configuring TeleNav while driving and tap Go.
Step 11. Tap Yes or No to take a tour of the TeleNav features.
Step 12. To exit TeleNav, tap Exit.
Step 13. Tap Yes.

Step 1. Go to Home screen.
Step 2. Tap Start.
Step 3. Tap Google Maps.
The first time that you open Google Maps, tap Accept and then tap OK to continue. Tap Menu.
Step 4. Tap Use GPS to select or clear the check box.

Digital Compass converts your HTC HD2 cell phone into a handy compass so you can determine the direction you’re facing, your precise GPS location, and your distance to a destination.

To Determine your Direction

Step 1. On the Home screen, tap Start > Tools > Digital Compass.
Step 2. Hold your HTC HD2 cell phone parallel to the ground with the top of the phone facing away from you.
Step 3. Use the pointer (red line) to determine your direction. The compass value at the upper end of the pointer shows the direction you are facing, while the current direction displayed at the top of the screen tells you the precise compass value.

To Navigate to a Destination

View continually updated distance and direction information to a destination that you have picked on a map. Digital Compass uses your phone’s GPS receiver to work out where you are in relation to your destination.
GPS requires a clear view of the sky, while Google Maps requires an active Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.

Step 1. On the Home screen, tap Start > Tools > Digital Compass.

Step 2. Tap Destination at the bottom of the screen to open Google Maps.
Step 3. Tap and hold a destination on the map. Digital Compass activates your phone’s GPS. When your GPS location is found, the distance to your destination is shown under the compass. The green dot on the compass bezel indicates the direction of your destination.
Step 4. Use the direction of the green dot as a reference to help you find your destination. The displayed distance decreases as you get closer to your destination.

Also, you can clear the current destination by tapping the button that displays the distance to your destination!

Hi dear readers, we are going to share a useful tip with you, that is how to set up alarm ringtone on T-Mobile HTC HD2. If you don’t know this tip, follow us to find the way:)

Step 1. Tap the time of one of the alarm clocks that are available.
Tap HOME then tap the clock, and at the bottom left of the screen slide to the alarm tab. Here you will see a list of alarms available. The slider at the right will indicate whether the alarm is on or off.

Step 2. On the next screen tap Alarm Sound, then select the Alarm Sound that you wish to use. The sound will play shortly when selected.

Step 3. On the Set Alarm screen, you can also set the time and days when to sound the alarm clock.

Step 4. You can enter a description and also choose whether you want your phone to vibrate when the alarm goes off.

Step 5. Once finished, tap Done.
