Warning: Performing either of the reset options below will completely erase all downloaded applications and personal files, including music, pictures, videos, and documents, that did not come pre-installed on the device. Soft Reset

• Tap the Widget Bar and then tap Settings
• Tap Reset Settings > Master Reset
• If prompted, create a new password
• Tap Yes to begin reset process

Hard Reset

Shut down the device

Press and hold the End key, tap Power Off, and then tap OK

Remove SIM card

Remove the battery cover, the battery, and then remove the SIM card. Replace the battery and battery cover.

Three-key combination

Press and hold the Volume Down key, Send Key, and then End Key in succession. Make sure that all three are being pressed simultaneously and that the End Key is pressed last

When the graphic is displayed, press the Menu key to begin factory reset
