Use the Samsung Vibrant to get Wi-Fi in the sky while traveling on participating airlines with Gogo Wireless. Go to Applications > GoGo. Follow the prompts to set the feature up on the phone.
Tip 2. Music Player

Customers will enjoy the phone’s easy-to-use music player. Music is sorted automatically by album and artist, and the phone creates instant playlists based on most played, recently played, and recently added songs. Users can create their own playlists with just a few steps, and they can easily upload new music from a PC, using a desktop dock or USB cable.

Tip 3. Samsung Media Hub
Accessing and Watching Movies
To download movies, go to Applications > Media Hub. From here, users can read movie reviews, find theater show times, and download movies. This feature will be available shortly after the phone launches.

The Power Saving Mode enables users to conserve battery life by allowing the phone to analyze the displayed image and automatically adjust LCD brightness. To activate, go to Applications > Settings > Sound and Display. Touch Power Saving Mode so that a green checkmark appears in the box.

Swype can be used in three languages: English, French, or Spanish. To set the language, go to Applications > Settings > Locale & Text > Swype > Language. Touch the circle by the preferred language.

Using Text-to-Speech
Text-to-Speech enables users to set the phone so incoming calls or new notifications are read to them aloud. To use, touch Applications > Settings > Text-to-Speech > Install Voice Data. The user will be taken to the Android Market™ to install the most recent version of the program. After the app is installed, the user can go back to Settings and set preferences for this feature, such as speech rate, language, user settings, and speak Caller I.D.
Tip 7. Google™ Mobile Services
Zooming in on Images in the Browser, Maps, and Gallery
The Android™ 2.1 platform enables users to pinch-to-zoom in on any image, page, or map in the browser, GPS, or gallery. For example, go to Applications > Gallery. Select a photo. Use the thumb and forefinger to pinch in and out of the screen.
