How to use the Layar Augmented Reality Browser on Samsung Vibrant

Some Samsung Vibrant users may get interested in using the Layar Augmented Reality Browser. If you don’t know how to use it on your device, look at the steps below. You just do what the instructions ask and you will make it.

Open the app by going to Applications > Layar.
Press Accept. The user will be asked to create an account in order to use all of the features – this is an optional step.
Press Create Account and fill in the username, email, and password. Press Create Account again.
A tab will appear at the top of the screen, indicating available Layars. Choose from Favorites, Local, Featured, Popular, and Search.
Position the phone’s camera lens toward the area to be viewed.

a) To switch to another layer, touch Layars.

b) Switch between Reality, Map, and List by touching the buttons in the upper left corner of the screen.

c) Switch between normal view and bird’s-eye view by touching the eye/bird button.

d) Adjust settings by touching the Settings Wheel.

e) Add a layer to the Favorites list by touching the Star button.
